Zigock II
|
This Quake II bot by Ponpoko of Japan
is considered one of the best, and is easy to use. It can wander at any level
and can handle water, lava and slime. It also plays Capture the Flag and uses
the grapple.

This bot for Quake II is useful for
practicing deathmatch skills. The latest version features Capture the Flag
support.

| Cronos
|
There are Cronos bots for both Quake
and Hexen II, for a total of 17 artificial players. These bots have different
levels and abilities, from the simple Skill 0 Barney to the dangerous Skill 3
Abaddon. They will play cooperatively or as an opponent, and may insult you if
they get upset.

|
This is one of the original Quake II
bots, and has been revised to allow teamplay options. Famekbot has realistic and
customizable vision, which can be configured to allow you to sneak up on the bot
– if you’re careful.

| Gladiator
|
A top game bot, this artificial player
for Quake II is known for its ability to mimic human behavior. It allows you to
adjust over 50 variables, including weapon choice in many different situations.

| Gyrobot
|
Gyrobot is imbued with an innate sense
of carnage, and is not afraid of death. It can be configured to use axes or
guns, or switch between them, and dies in lava and slime. With Gyrobot you
should be able to run many bots at one time without much slowdown. It’s
written for Quake.

|
An artificial player for Half Life,
Jumbot was updated at the end of 1999. It now runs at what its developer refers
to as “the perfect speed at all times.”

| Kraze!
|
Kraze! Is a client-side
deathmatch opponent for KingPin. It remembers the location of all
items on a level so it can stock up on weapons and ammo. It will actively
move around a level collecting equipment while seeking enemies.
Kraze!
plays “Last Thug Standing,” and is capable of teamplay.

|
Loki is an application that
allows users to specify hierarchical finite state machines visually.
Then, whatever users wrote is operational within the Half-Life game
"Team Fortress Classic." The developers are planning on
moving over to another mod, Counter-Strike.

Omicron is a Quake
bot. One of the Omicron characters
speaks its own language. For example, “blmoHqu” means “You are ugly.”
And “toH” means “Well, AHA!”

This AI opponent for
multi-player SIN deathmatches is loaded with features. It jumps, ducks
and strafes in combat, supports any user defined model or skin, and

Rho-bot is a fully customizable
player for Half Life. Its features include experiential learning,
human mimicry and fuzzy logic tactics. Rho-bot becomes increasingly
realistic and versatile the longer it plays against a human opponent.

This bot adds a new
monster to Dukem. It has five levels of difficulty. Four of them are
predefined and the fifth is completely customizable for speed, shooting
power, health and other traits.

Developed as an artificial
player for Starseige Tribes, Spoonbot is compatible with most weapons-only
mods like Renegade and Balance of Power. Spoonbot’s painterbot will
paint enemy turrets to help guide your mortar fire. Its medic bot
will repair damaged or destroyed turrets, stations and generators.

Designed as a chatbot client
for Battle.Net and FSGS game servicers, it aims at moderating user
access to gaming channels. It records account numbers of users
and also serves as a chat client.

This Quake bot can be savage.
As its developer says, “Whether he’s strafing in circles around you,
or humping you down from behind, you will soon know that this is not
Mythology 101.”
