PriceGrabber
Announces Partnership with Opera Browser
| From Press Reports |

Shopping comparison company Pricegrabber.com and Opera Software,
the creator of the Opera Web Browser, today announced a strategic
affiliate agreement. Opera 5 will feature the Pricegrabber shopping
comparison services as part of its integrated search box.
"Opera users are among the most active users of online shopping
channels,"
says Rolf Assev, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing
for Opera. "PriceGrabber allows users to quickly find the best
deals on the most popular items such as electronics, computer hardware
and software. And we have made this even easier by integrating shopping
comparison right into the Opera 5 browser."
Since the launch of Opera's free version in Dec. 2000, it has received
high praise from users and critics around the world. Free Opera
5 has dramatically increased Opera's user base, with around 20,000
new people joining every day.
"The Opera user is a great fit for PriceGrabber," said
Tamim Mourad, CEO of PriceGrabber. "We're excited to work with
this unique company and
technology, and look forward to widespread use of the integrated
PriceGrabber shopping comparison functionality within Opera 5."
PriceGrabber has grown dramatically since the site was launched
with a
single shopping comparison channel in 1999. The PriceGrabber site
now includes millions of products in eight shopping channels (computers,
software, electronics, video games, movies, music, books and toys).
PriceGrabber hosts over 1.5 million shoppers monthly.
