EdgeGain 1.1 Released

Rasante Technologies, Inc. a technology development company that provides shopping software solutions for online shoppers and small companies, announced last week the launch of EdgeGain Pro 1.1 and EdgeGain Lite 1.1, both in beta testing since January 19th.

EdgeGain 1.1 is an upgrade from last year’s EdgeGain 1.0, a real time purchasing platform that allows buyers to automatically compare prices in real time on their own browsers. One of the key improvements is the inclusion of shipping and handling fees as well as taxes to the total product cost. EdgeGain Lite 1.1 is a free version with the same features of EdgeGain Pro but supporting only a selected number of stores.

"With this new release, we address one of the most important issues raised by our clients. S&H fees and taxes are major hidden costs that substantially change the cost of a product. EdgeGain 1.1 handily shows the products’ price components, giving the consumer the upper hand," said Ed Koliver, CEO of Rasante Technologies.

He also added that EdgeGain Lite fulfills another old request from its ever growing user community, that of a free version of EdgeGain.
